From the body, not the manual.

if you have found your way here, you're somewhere in the becoming.

Maybe you're pregnant, and your body is already rewriting itself before you can catch up. Maybe your baby is here, and you're holding a stranger in the night and loving them so deeply it feels like grief. Maybe you can't remember who you were before - or you can remember, and that's somehow worse.

Your body knows things your mind hasn't named yet.

You wake at 3am before they cry. You feel the shift in the room before anything is said. Your hands find them without thinking. That isn't coincidence. That is your nervous system doing something ancient. Something your mother's mother's mother did in a world that held her when she did it.

But nobody is holding you.

That's what The Motherfield is here for.

you're not here to follow someone else's system.

You’re here to embody your own way of mothering. I am here to help you do that.

I offer motherhood support for the raw, real experiences of early mothering - birth preparation, postpartum mental health, matrescence, and infant sleep - through a relational, biological, and nervous system-informed lens that honors the whole.

ways to be supported

  • birth

For the mother preparing for one of life's most intimate crossings.

Birth is not a logistics problem. It is a threshold. You deserve support that treats it that way — preparation that goes beyond checklists, into what you'll need in your body, your mind, and your relationships when things get real.

I offer in-person and virtual doula support and childbirth education rooted in evidence, instinct, and a deep respect for the way you want to birth. Schedule a free consultation.

  • motherhood

For the mother in the transformation of becoming.

Matrescence - the transformation of becoming a mother - is the longest passage most women will ever cross. It asks something of you that no strategy can meet.

My one-to-one coaching for that crossing. Not to fix what's happening, but to help you understand it - and trust yourself more deeply on the other side.

    Schedule a free consultation.

  • infant sleep

For the mother in the middle of the night.

This is not sleep training. There is no extinction method here, no schedule to enforce, no version of this that asks you to override what your body is telling you.

This is support for the space you're already in and starts with relationship - your baby's rhythms, your needs, your family's reality - and builds from there. Rest is possible. It doesn't require separation to find it.

hi, i'm morgan.

I didn't come to this work because I wanted to teach motherhood.

I came because motherhood changed me - profoundly, thoroughly, from the inside out.

In the fall of 2024, I gave birth to my son at home. Like many women, the moment I became pregnant, I was surrounded by well-meaning guidance and advice alongside warnings disguised as humor, and systems meant to prepare me for what was ahead.

Every decision was framed as urgent, risky, or wrong, and much of it was loud.

Very little of it made space for how motherhood actually felt in my body.

The Motherfield grew from a refusal to mother that way.

My work is rooted in attachment, somatic and nervous system support for mothers and babies, and a deep trust in biology and relationship. I support mothers through birth preparation, the postpartum period, and infant sleep - without sleep training, separation-based methods, or overriding instinct.

I walk alongside mothers who want to live their values in the raw, everyday work of raising children - with steadiness, presence, and trust in what's unfolding between them and their babies.
